We are a Government body and we exist to protect consumers buying hearing aids in the UK. It is illegal to sell hearing aids in the UK unless you register with us. We can help you find a registered dispenser in your area and you can complain to us if you think the dispenser or their employer is not acting appropriately. We will investigate your complaint and if we find the registrant guilty we can admonish them, force them to take extra training, fine them or strike them off.
