Vision, values and corporate plan
We agreed our vision and strategic objectives in July 2005:
- There are clear standards of professional practice (including performance, conduct, ethics, education and training, continuing professional development) that are continually developed, implemented, maintained and improved.
- Hearing impaired people are enabled and informed about the nature of hearing loss and their hearing assistance options.
- There is transparency for hearing aid users, providers and others around the operation of the hearing aid market.
- There is equality, timely access and a choice of hearing aid audiology services within a unified market.
To deliver these objectives, in March 2008, we reviewed and agreed a Corporate Plan. The plan sets out how and when we will meet each objective. You can read the plan here.
